Had my 5th chemo last Thursday. A new one called Taxotere. It really has knocked me for a six, and I've been very unwell. |

Dee when my mum was having Chemo she had shingles, her GP gave her some pills to help with the pain. She wasn't taken into hospital though. I would give your GP a ring. |

Hi Dee, When my mum got shingles I phoned the GP and he sent out a District Nurse who diagnosed. He didn't want her sitting in the surgery waiting room, not that she could as at the time as she was poorly. So I would give your GP a ring in the morning and explain the situation. If you went to the hospital you could be there for hours. |

Dee Sorry to hear about this new complication. I had Shingles some years ago and it was very painful - like sciatica of the nerve endings. Is your rash painful? |
