Brian, well done for the determination to post and thanks for letting us know you are around. I am sure you get very frustrated when you can't communicate as quickly as you used to, but you are still here and I bet your family are chuffed to bits to have you with them and improving all the time. Keep up the good work and try not to get downhearted if it doesn't happen as fast as you would wish. Slow and steady is good. Liz with a new name in honour of having my 60th birthday last month and becoming an oap lol

Brian, good friend of ours had a stroke (three in a row) a couple of years ago. The improvement over the last 12 months has been amazing. At 66 he is still working, still driving and has now got himself a dog which makes him walk more. His speech is improving all the time, now back to the risque jokes. It will take time, but it will happen. Stay positive. Rosalind
