Hate's a strong word! I don't like several but only one is graduating towards hatred! Only thing that's stopping me hating him is that he's such a prat he's not worth such a strong emotion! |

Thought you'd gone off to bed? Too hot to sleep perhaps......... No I don't hate any of my family but then only have my brother and son left and love them both dearly. Didn't really know my dad very well, he died when I was ten but was in bad health before I was born so never really had much influence in my life. Mum did! She was the best. Rosexx |

No. Hating them would take too much energy - and they're not worth the effort. I have total contempt for my mum's brother & sister (so does she). Their jealousy of my mum and behaviour towards my gran in her last years was unforgivable. My uncle is a member of this institution (though I've not seen him post on here), so if he has worked out who I am - here's a raspberry ************* maggie |

I was going to ask if you'd disliked your brother since you were a child. I love my brothers dearly; but, the Bible, which has been around for millenia, is full of stories about warring siblings. I also suspect that the reason that one of the Ten Commandments is 'Honour thy father and thy mother', is because - left to their own devices - most people wouldn't |

Hoff NO! don't burn him, tempting though it may be! Does he know you hate him and why? also, and it is hard to say not knowing the circumstances, he may not always have been the way you know him? He may have started out ok but been 'soured' by life or his own experiences as a child? Thats not an excuse but it might be a reason.............. As someone who is not given to hating many people, when I do it cuts deep but I do know it doesn't do any good for you to feel like that. Rosexx |
