LOL Liz, It done it for me too, I have abondoned the blanket, which is wet - heavy dew. Also, have been savaged by something. That will teach me, I needed a flip top head tonight.

Oh you wouldn't have seen me for dust if I had had a visit from a slug Tina, haven't been out any more as cloud came over again. Glad you enjoyed the show! Liz

Have just spent the last hour lying on a blanket on the grass watching..... only to be joined by too much wildlife, the slug was the final straw! The show was impressive though. Tina x

Went out just after 10 pm here in Norwich, and saw one then cloud came over but have been out again in last half hour and seen a couple more, sky is lovely so many stars twinkling but can't stand there with head back for too long, will aggravate my neck problem. O.h. is sound asleep as up at 5 am.

Ooh - got half way up there and chickened out!! - It's dark!! Sat in the garden and saw 6. They must be really big for me to see them with all the street lamps. Strangely, all headed towards M3, so crossing it may not have given me more of a view. Came in as 'child' (teenager) next door declared to his mum (and the rest of the neighbourhood) that he was getting his bike in!! Seemed to take the 'feel' out of watching. maggie

I am amazed at how quickly they move - it's like that last trail of a firework as it shoots through the sky bfore 'dissolving' into nothingness. No streetlights here, just wide open space to both front and back of my house. Beautiful still clear night, glow of light on the horizon and a star filled sky. Wonderful. Jay

Pretty spectacular in my neck of the woods. Looking east out of my bedroom window and getting an amazing show. Jay
