Well we had a good laugh and put the world to rights (as you do)...................................................................... We had a lovely time, thank to Mags for organising and Jan for co-ordinating with GR................................... It was great to meet up with: Mandy in Wilts plus Marston and Jordan, Viv, Jill, Christine Houselander, Jan and briefly Rick, Gwyn (Guiniverre), Vivienne and Anne from N London and Mags of course............................................................ We left most of them there still chatting as we wanted to beat the M5 traffic, had a good journey back except for one sharp horrendous storm.. Just got indoors and the rain bucketed down again....................................... Thanks again Mags. (Better post this on FTF as well I suppose!) Ann Glos

I wasn't aware of this meet, suppose I should watch the boards more closely. Maybe next time someone will nudge me! As the last one was snowed off it would have been nice to have met you all. Mandy, how did you get there without your Pat-Nav on board.? Hope you all had a good time. Pat

Mandy in Wiltshire Report 15 Aug 2007 20:56

I've just got home. No, it didn't take me nearly 6 hours to drive from Bristol to here (LOL!), we've been via the Mall and the hospital. Thank you Mags for organising such a lovely meet, and thanks to everyone just for being there! It was nice for us to have a break today. It was brilliant to meet my friend Gwynne at last, even if she isn't as tall as I was expecting ;) I would just like to say that Jan does indeed have a little voice...my son said so when she was talking on her mobile. And she is sooooo in love with Rick (I heard her on the phone) :))) Mandy xx
