Hi Philip, I spent my 'formative years' in Audenshaw, Manchester, in 1940's and 50's. So look on myself as a Lancashire Lass, although born in Lincs and having lived in a number of counties before settling here in Derbys. My father was from Manchester and his mother was one of 14 so must have lots of relatives around !!!!! One lived at the 'foot of Pendle Hill' Tracy. Anne |

Can I play anyway? Born in Chatham and moved to Warrington at 6 months with the help of mum and dad. They may have messed about with the boundaries a bit and shoved it into Cheshire but Warrington is in LANCASHIRE!!!!!!!!! Eileen |

I've lived in Preston or surrounding districts since I was 3 years old, when my father came to work here. I don't know what I can call myself as I was born in Stafford and my parents hail from Yorkshire! Lancstaffyorkie? We have some lovely countryside around this part of the world, as well as the Ribble Valley and the Pendle Witches. there are the Bleasdale Fells. You can be in the country within 20 minutes from where I live. Margaret |

Seeing that there are various county threads springing up, I thought I should start the ball rolling for Lancashire (historical, that is, not the recent organisational rump!) So who hails from the Red Rose county? Gi'e us a shout, lads & lasses! Philip |
