Thanks Les. Gosh - you obviously read the lot! I do that too - even the SS Utopia's 400 odd postings so I could get the feel of what was going on before I tried to 'enlist'. What a waste of effort that was!! If people don't at least read back from when they last posted on a thread (and many don't) how can they know what has been said or done before ??? Magsx |

Lin Can't say I've noticed myself - yes some are more "known" here, but that's only because they post more messages - personally I respond to everyone on the merit of what they're posting, not who's posted it. Bear in mind by the way that it's sometimes difficult to read from the words written what the implied tone was. I saw the "it was discussed in April" comment, and didn't think the person was saying that you shouldnt have asked. Paul |

Lin, You've got some replies here! It could have been me who wrote ' Is this board only for the chosen few?' Many times I have felt the same. I think I've started a good debate and few people are interested, yet others write rubbish and get loads of replies. I know how you feel. Jo. |

Hello Lin, I`ll chat to you, no probs. On replying to `threads`, I reply to those that I feel confident about answering. If someone asks a specific question about something I know nothing about, there`s no point in answering is there.so, if your in need of help, just holla. XX |

Lin, I just wanted to say 'hi' as well! When I log on, I tend to look down the list of threads and post a reply to them in order - but while I'm replying, the threads are moving at a very fast pace, so I'm sure there are plenty I've missed. I do agree that usually if someone mentions a previous thread, they are doing it because there is more info to be found there. Mandy :) |

Hi Lin, I'm really sorry if you had that impression when I added to your thread on the Passion of Christ film yesterday. I said it so you could look back and have a look if you wanted to. I did make a comment about the film though, as I like discussions too and it doesn't matter if it's been mentioned before. Often new points are discussed which is great! Best wishes! John |
