I forgot marbles. I collect marbles, all sorts and I love the ones you get in Chrystal shops that are made from things like agate etc. When I was tiny I used to visit an old lady who kept marbles in a jar on her mantlepiece. As a treat I was allowed to take the jar down and tip them out. They were lovely.all colours and spiral patterns. Now I have a marble jar for my gransons Rose |

China jugs, old ones of course. I started collecting them thirty years ago so have an awful lot. Jo. |

I colect oldish books, particularly the 'Religious Tract Society' ones, which have lovely front covers and appalling moral tales, old household medical books children's books and Penguin paperbacks. I also collect cheap naff religious icons, which I ask people to bring back from their holidays. My favourite is a rather nice bust of Jesus in black resin, with gold glitter for a cown, and a blue glitter beard!!! (from Italy) Oh, and I have a vast amount of Tetley tea folk stuff in the attic!! Didn't collect it, just acquired it through promotions - I drink a lot of tea!lol maggie |

Maggie Winchester - the Tetley Tea Folk stuff is really sought after - could be worth dusting it down and checking e-bay or similar. Maggie H |

I collect Prinknash pottery but mainly the pewter coloured stuff. It's fairly cheap and I love it. (Never spent more than a fiver on a piece at charity shops and boot sales) My other half thinks I'm mad as I've got about 30-40 bits now. I have to sneak it in the house and add it to the collection when he's not looking. |

Snap! So do I Janet, -but only on a very small scale because as mentioned earlier we're short of space here. My children look out for it and even bought a small vase off e bay. It's a challenge to look out for it as you do. That's part of the fun that 'new' buying wouldn't bring. |
