Hiya I decided to treat myself to some new knee high, high heeled boots from one of my shopping catalogues and they arrived this evening. I put the first one and it was abit tight around my calf muscle so I decided not to keep them, tried to take the boot off and the zip jammed and I couldnt get the zip to go up or down or get the boot off, struggled for about half an hour getting more and more hot. In the end I decided the only way I was going to get the boot off was to cut it off me, so had to phone the catalogue to tell them I was returning the boot faulty. It was so embarrasing. In the end I eventually got the boot off after cutting the material at the back of the zip which had got stuck in the back of the zip. Blush! Anyone else got any embarrasing trying on clothes stories? Karen |

It would have been even more embarrassing if you had been in a shoe shop and not at home. |

I used to work in a little bakers shop cum grocers cum everything else including clothes. One poor woman tried on a pair of jeans and couldn't get them off again - we had to lie her on the living room floor at the back of the shop and take a leg each and PULL lol She couldn't get up for laughing but luckily the jeans were off before she phsl lol Magsx |

Had a similar incident, with a long zip-up cardigan. Zip got stuck, I panicked, broke zip!, but I daren't send it back, I paid for it, and then had to find someone who could put in a new zip, costly cardigan at the end of it all!. |

:-) what I didnt say was I was sitting on the floor just in my knickers and bra as I was going to try a skirt and top on with them :-) thank godness I eventually got the boot off! as I was getting to the stage where I was thinking that I was going to have to either call on a neighbour to assist or even worse the fire brigade! Karen (Still blushing!) |

Lisa glad its not only me :-) sorry to hear your feeling ill, I was just reading your thread about your blood tests etc. I ordered these ones because it said "stretch" but the stretch was just the material :-( I need to find some with a stretch panel in them but they cost a fortune :-( all this just so I can wear a skirt in the winter while looking "sexy" at the same time :-) Karen x |

Gave us all a laugh anyway Karen. But why don't the manufacturers realise that the majority of women have not got stick thin legs? If you walk, cycle, do aerobics, step or any exercise the weight never comes off your calves the muscle builds up. (and, of course if, like me you are a tad overweight but I prefer the exercise excuse!!) Ann Glos |

I walk about 3 miles a day to and from work and also salsa dance - thats my excuse for having calf muscles that wont fit in the boots :-) As for pole dancing - if you find me a pole I'll dance around it ;-) - as long as Robbie Williams is shoving £50 notes into my thong :-) Karen |

The bliss of being single - no male to tell you that you cant leave the house :-) - the downside - no man to cuddle up with or to tell you how good you look :-( Karen x |
