Joanne, had mine removed when 26years old, best thing to come out of it was that I had to go and buy new clothes I lost over a stone in weight!! Needless to say it did not last long but good at the time. Been as right as rain since. Good luck Kassidy |

Hi Joanne, I had my tonsils out when I was 28 and I have to be honest and say that it is sore but only for a short time.When I woke up,I couldnt swallow very well but morphine is a wonder drug!I was only allowed home when I could actually swallow roughage and I chose Weetabix because you can soften it with milk.A plus to it is that you lose weight.Good Luck and once it is over and done with,you rarely get painful throats. |
