Hi, I'm from Southsea too. I was born in Milton, went to St. Luke's school (when it was strict and the head walked around in his cap and gown!). Moved to London, Kent and then Essex for a while, but been back home now since 1996. Julie

I was born in Winchester and lived the next 13 years in Bishopstoke and Chandlers Ford. I went to school in Eastleigh (north End and Holy Cross) before emigrating to Calgary in 1966. Most of my family is still in the Chandlers Ford and Southampton (Hedge End) area. Teresa

Never been to Liss so not sure about it's boredom status, I do have a funny story re:Liss tho.... My partner who had spent alot of time in the USA before he moved back to the UK, answered an ad in the local paper regarding a guitar for sale. He was very excited about the prospect of the bargain of the century and so told all my family. We all gathered around whilst he made the call, the ad said call Liss 576765. He began the call by saying " Can I speak to Liss please?" We all looked at each other before laughing hysterically at my very puzzled boyfriend!!!! Once we and 'Liss' had stopped laughing he did seal the deal!
