Lemons!! and i still do eat them.. And also love orange peel, I never peel an orange before eating it.. i just eat it like an apple!! Loverly!! Maz x

Shredded Wheat with condensed milk, followed by boiling water on top and then mash it all up. Ready Brek but eaten with cold milk. Weetabix with margarine and Marmite spead on it.

Margaret.. you need to boil it for 2 hours, and make sure it doesnt boil dry!! Let the tin cool slightly before you open it and cover your hands... it is hot, thick and sticky!!! Maz x

I remember the sugar sandwiches and the thick condensed milk.I can't eat sweet things now sadly. You and the beetles-So funny Princess My youngest,now a whisker off 40 ate a slug from the log pile.We have a photo of him doing it. I know,I know,we should have stopped it,but I was as big a kid then as they were. I think it is the only thing that winds him up when we talk about it. He can'tbear us to mention it- Rose

Rose, Jammie Dodgers are still around - my daughter loves them. Waggon wheels are too but they are smaller. I once had choc ice and chips for dinner and have had stone soup. I used to love eating raw jelly. Jack x
