My pet hate is the use of the word 'partner' for people who co-habit. I detest it and avoid using it at all costs. Even some official forms now refer to partners, often in preference to husband/wife. Grrr....

My major pet hate at the mo is all these petty arguments on here, I used to enjoy reading the threads on the general board but more and more of the threads seem to be turning into arguments and slagging off matches :-( Karen

People that have to OUT DO you when your telling a story,especially when its about your own kids ( i was telling the girls at work this week how i'd lost abox of chocs over christmas and last week I found the EMPTY box under my 7 yr old bed, after telling him off and asking why he had taken them, his reply was" it was an accident" when asked how the reply was"they accidently fell into my hands and came up stairs and i accidently ate them"As i have always told them accidents happen and it's no-ones fault, I could tell him off as I was trying hard not to laugh)But of cause one of the girls grandaughters had done better than that!!!!
