Having only just seen his thread I am so sorry I did not have the chance to send a message of support. May David rest in peace and may his parents and brother take comfort from each other. He may only have had a short life but what a lot of love he was given. Linda x

I hadn't realized they'd lost their son. How very very sad. I wish I could think of something to say to help ease their pain but words fail me. Thinking of them all. Lorrainex

Robert and Family I am so sorry for your loss.. I am not dead, I did not die, I only passed from earth to sky. From dark to light, my soul took flight, Beautiful here, a wondrous sight. The face of Jesus I can see, Happy I'll be when you're with me. The grief you feel will soon subside, And in it's place in you abide. Belief that I'm free from pain, And joy that I am well again. The sweetness of the times we shared, The laughter, and tears together paired. The dreams we dreamed, the prayers we prayed, The "I love you's" so often said. These memories ne'er fade away, But grow brighter as day by day. God gives you grace to bear the dross, 'till rejoined because of the cross. Mazzie x x x

Dear Bob, Lorraine and Christopher I am so sorry to hear of your sad loss. With tears in my eyes I was reading your Angels thread and this one, and playing in the background was the song that Mike Read had written which has just been released to raise funds for the tsunami - Grief Never Grows Old. It seems so appropriate Grief never grows old It never dies As fresh as the flowers As clear as the skies My heart it is empty My feelings grown cold But I’ll always remember Grief never grows old Love lives like a flame It flickers and dies It flares with a brightness That bewilders the eyes But there is a burning So deep in my soul That will always be with me Grief never grows old Grief never leaves you It’s hand in hand Like an unresolved question You don’t understand And no-one can answer No-one can say Why grief never grows old at all Or fades away Time moves like the wind The moment he gave Time flies like an eagle From cradle to grave Cry tears for your dying No harvest of gold Though all things must pass away Grief never grows old Grief never grows old It falls like the rain It’s a late summer evening A haunting refrain And sorrow’s an ocean As deep and as cold As the memories remind me Grief never grows old As the memories remind me Grief never grows old. With heartfelt sympathy Jxx
