Ann Not from Glos, but I am hijacking this thread because my grandfather and his parents, grandparents, great-grandparents came from Gloucestershire - Rendcomb(e), Chedworth, Woodmancote, North Cerney, Guiting Power and Barnsley. nell

I live in Cheltenham but although I believed that my ancestors were from other parts of the country have now found that many of them came from Gloucestershire.

I don't now, but spent most of my life there, Mum's still in Gloucester and I've got countless rellies (living and dead) in Glos - lovely county, want to come back, boo hoo!

Hi, i was born and bred in cheltenham, but unfortunately been living in Bedworth Nr Coventry for the past 6yrs, hubby's family are from Bedworth and we moved for his job. Most of my rellies were born Charlton Kings + Cheltenham. James Lawrence Pratt Hanks Dancey Morris Mustoe Izard Williams and a few more. Christine Not been out to see the hills as confined to the house with a cough/cold and feeling rough. But they may not be white as weseem to have had mainly sleet in the valley. it isn't clear today but couldn't see snow on Robinswood or Churchdown hills yesterday. Ann Glos
