Maz (the Royal One) in the East End 9256 Report 20 Feb 2005 14:47

As there are several members who have been unable to attend meets in pubs/restaurants as they cannot leave their babies or children, I thought I would see if anyone fancied a 'child-friendly' meet in London. I was thinking of a Saturday in July, meeting for a picnic in one of the Parks. This will mean you can spend as much or as little on refreshments as you like, the day can be combined with sightseeing and the kids can have a good time too! Please can you let me have your feedback and if it is a popular idea then I will set a date and place nearer the time. I also need suggestions for a 'wet weather' alternative please! Oh, by the way, you wouldn't HAVE to have children to attend!!! Maz. XX

That's a lovely idea Maz as some people do like to have the option of bringing children or maybe have a problem getting sitters. I suppose we could all bring gazebos with us in case of hot or wet weather!!! Daisy
