I think we're gonna have to go with Arthur Head a travelling chemist who sells homemade concoctions door to door. His first wife disappeared in mysterious circumstances and Arthur (Artie to his pals) always says she ran off with the man who drove the local horse drawn tram. Arthur is currently looking for wife no.2............ now THAT will keep you all freaking out over him.

HERBERT!

Greg Report 3 Mar 2005 13:53

Herbert or Humphrey sound great. As for surnames, it has to be a relatively old fashioned one. SHAKESHAFT looks good to me (since it is in my tree!!), but also something like HAWORTH would be fitting... :)

Maggie in Leics

Maggie in Leics Report 3 Mar 2005 14:09

He has to be The Beatles' 'Nowhere Man' - cos he's nowhere to be seen - in sepia or any other colour!!!!!!!

Maggie in Leics Report 3 Mar 2005 14:22

Thoroughly confused!! Widened page as far as it will go - row of 5 people with two blokes in it - but some folks were talking about asking this man questions - these two are deffo of the non-talking variety!!
