I walked into the garage on Wednesday and Paul Young was in there !! Also used to live in a village in Somerset and Tim Healy, Denise Welch and Nick Berry were regular visitors to a hotel their friend owns in the village ( he used to be in The Bill, but I can't remember him in it !! ) and they would often be found serving behind the bar !!

I met several famous people when I worked for Greene King delivering beer in the Lonon area and assorted Golf and sports club. One I always remember was Pat Jennings one of my childhood heroes. The cellar skids at a certain golf club were to wet to climb back up so I used the stairs that came out in the gents changing rooms and there sat Mr Jennings..all I could say was big Pat (his spurs nickname) then bolted with embarresment. The other I remember well is almost being knocked down by the husband Gary? in 2 point 4 children. I was in the road stopping traffic so my mate could reverse the dray into a side turning when this 4by 4 came hacking up the road only just stopping in time he was still grining even after I explained what I thought of him. then he put his head out of the window and just said sorry mate.

My mum grew up in Billericay. A boy from her school works for the BBC and is a writer/producer.... I went to BBC studies a few weeks ago. I didn't see much famous people but Natasha Kaplinsky walked past. I also saw a programme being filmed... Afterwards I saw Patrick Moore...couldn't believe my eyes and didn't say anything, just smiled at him and he looked at me too lol I didn't realise how old he was - he was in a wheelchair... Lucia :-)

When I was a Saturday girl in a department store, I sold a Barbie Doll and a Superman outfit to Phil Collins. Then when my husband took a holiday job in a department store in Manchester he served Deirdre from Corrrie on his first day. He was all in a dither with the credit card etc, and she was really nice to him. Natalie

Went up to Harrods with my daughter a couple of years age, for the end of the sale, and my daughter littrealy (spelling) went head first into Charlton Heston's chest, he is so tall, he was doing a book signing. This year we went again, and was having a snack at a little coffee place by the side of Harrods, on the same table was Raine Spencer (princess Diana's stepmother) she works in Harrods. Jennifer.

Yesterday, I met Ronnie Browne from The Corries in Lidl. Wouldn't have thought he'd shop there! If your wondering who he is, they were a well known Scottish Folk Duo, his partner in the Corries wrote Flower of Scotland. Christine
