NO. I was accused of being unfaithful in my first marriage but was not. Fortunatly I could prove I was somewhere else the night I was accused of playing away. You stay with someone because you love them and no one else. my opinion anyhow Malc

Never had to, so can't say. Don't know how I'd react, but I think I would probably sling him out along with his dirty washing and screw all the money I could out of him. Then I might forgive. nell

I don't think I could but I do know couples who seem to be quite happy, many years after their partners' previous 'indiscretions'.

It's a trickey question but the only answer should be no. A relactionship is built on trust once thats gone no matter how much you love someone you'll always dout there word. All your left with is mistrust. If you forgive one allways be prepaired to forgive again. Once a cheat always a cheat. Once a doormatt always a doormatt Regards Simon.

Linda, I know your only joking, but I tell you it was good fun cutting up his best clothes and packing them up and taking them to his mistress, when he wanted to take her out she had to buy him some new clothes, also I wrote a note to him and seald it up with lots of things I knew she wouldn't want to hear, knowing that she would open the letter, their 1st night together they had a blazing row....theres nothing like a woman scorned. :))) Bev

Depends on the circumstances. Many men and ladies are ALMOST forced into it. Angie above, is right, you can forgive but not forget. I think this is a slightly jokey comment if there are any biblical scholars about, but doesn,t the bible tell us that to merely THINK lechery is the same as committing it. If that is the case we are going to have a very hot re-union of 90% of our members one day. happy days

Hi Harry. No, for once, I was putting a serious thread on. Personally, I feel that there are much worse things than infidelity... BC

It depends... with hubby 1 no-chance.. too young didn't have the University of Life Degree then... Second partner... he forgave me and we are still the best of mates... Present Hubby (keeps the man on his toes) if he thinks the grass be greener then go cut it, we've had a great 15 years, and if he ventures into pastures new then I will too Magi
