Morning Nell, it's pretty quiet this morning, all the more for us lol, tea and toast coming up. Caroline took over the computer while I went to make her a cuppa, happens every time lol No sign of Christine or Gwynne this morning, I wonder if they've gone away for the weekend.

Morning Lou - Yes and thanks - but I am ashamed to say I haven't changed it yet! I have got about a million pieces of paper sat at the side of the computer with notes on - phone numbers , msn addresses, all sorts waiting for me to do something with them - I must get there and soon! LOL Thanks Paul - love to the girls. Obviously that person was too used to using a microwave! LOL I don't know if they still do them but when my kids were small they used to do frozen slices of meat that looked like doner kebab slices - they both loved them in rolls for lunch. You had to quick fry them for 10 seconds. They stayed over at my in laws - m-i-l bought some, read the instructions and decided that that just couldn't be right and cooked them for 10 MINUTES! LOL

Lol Mags, beef jerky anyone? or shoe leather What are you doing today anyway? your eggs are ready, want your bib, or have you cleaned your boiler suit?

Mags Report 27 Mar 2005 10:07

Boiler suit crisply starched and pressed....fluffy Easter bunny pinned on the collar (just in case you thought you'd got mice) Here on my own today Paul - may go out and do some more gardening. Not such a nice day as yesterday so far but it looks promising. Phil's off to daughter's to finish putting up grandaughter's playhouse - the roof needs putting on. Grandaughter was insisting she was going to sleep in there last night - so tonight will be even more of a struggle to get her indoors!. Daughter home today from hospital - she had an operation on her hand yesterday. Plus they are having building work done and the house is knee deep in dust and rubble...plus she's got her husband's two boys for the weekend too...I'm staying here. Originally Phil wasn't going over today either (as suggested - so she can get some rest) - but the playhouse turned up Friday and you know what 4 year olds are like - everything has to happen yesterday! LOL

I was glorious here yesterday Paul - almost gardening hat weather! - Got a lovely hat - it only needs corks hanging off it - and you could call me Sheila! LOL

Didn't you mention perhaps driving to York?....There's a museum there - not the Viking one. This one's run by the council. Admission very reasonable and it is fantastic! - we could have stayed in there all day and very interesting for kids too. A whole gallery about chocolate production with interactive bits/questions - like how many layers of colour on a Smartie! Just a thought.
