My hubby was born in Lincoln so he's a 'yellow belly'. I was born in Staffordshire so I have no idea what that is. Louise

I am a Cheshire Cat - but did you know that there are two schools of thought re the Hampshire Hog - that it is a sheep not a pig! There was uproar when the bronze pig was put at the Castle as apparently the hog is a term for a young sheep - any shepherds out there? Ann

My mum was a Kentish maid brought up in the countryside, my dad came from the town Stoke Newington, so I am a suburban mix. Now live in Hitchin and the rugby club are called the Hedgehogs, and they have a white hedgehog on their shirts. nell

I was born in Sussex - so I guess that makes me Silly!! Live in Winchester now, worked for a while in the 'flying breezeblock' (the extra offices on top of the car park behind the Pig LOL) maggie Ps the Hog is outside the Hampshire County Council offices, there is no town hall - just the Guildhall

Dorothy, 've got no idea why people are called 'Silly' if they come from Sussex - just always had it thrown at me as a child. My sister was born in Gosport (Hog) and my brothers in Malta - that must make them 'aliens' LOL I suppose the real term is Silly Sussexer maggie

Being a Glaswegian, we usually get called Weegies. Don't think Edinburgh folk have a 'name' Christine

If you're born within Conwy town walls, you're a Jackdaw for some reason. I would have thought Seagull would have been more appropriate.
