Hi Mel, i done cooking as a career for 12 years but due to a back problem i now can not work in this line. Since been unable to work i have taken a gr8 interest in the garden, i love to potter around and do what i can to make it look nice. i love going to garden centres and brousing round all the lovely colourful plants and flowers, more often than not i come home with something. kaz

Like both. Wife is a veggie, so have to split dishes. Today Fish Stew and Vegetable stew. Nothing much grows in my garden as the house is built on former tennis hard courts, so its gro bags for me. David

Melanie I LOVE doing both, i've been in the garden all day today just pottering about and getting it all ready for summer. I also get alot of pleasure out of cooking and baking but never seem to quite get it right with the baking , always seems to go pretty fast thought, my two boys make short work of it . Deb X

Melanie, You will take this as a flippant reply, but it,s not. At my age gardening is the nearest thing to nature that I get. The weather does not worry me. Just come inside on a cold, dull and blustery day, clearing the dead foliage of the crocus, - my friendly robin always rolls up and comes within a foot of me. He or she is nesting in an old chicken shed I have with a permanent opening in it. I might add that I cover the ground with plants (always with winter bulbs beneath)- don,t like to see an inch of bare soil anywhere. happy days
