Hi Julie, Weather forecast not too good. Ah, me. Maybe, by the end of the week, I can persuade a certain person that a day in the National Library of Wales may be a good thing. Are the Fens wet this morning? Gwynne

Morning from a very wet, windy Istanbul Gwynne, I'll have a quick coffee with you before you head off. I've just spent 13 hours on a bus, but it was worth it :) Morning Julie, Magi

We got four days off (pre-final reports UGH!) so I decide to head off to the hot part of the country, Didim - on the Aegean coast, and I've come back like a beetroot! All sung out, no TV for three days, bliss...

Morning Linda, I wonder why us girls save the ironing for Sunday morning? My mom used to do hers on a Sunday too, wonder if it's a family tradition???

Before I nip off to get ready I must tell you about my wonderful drama group. (ages 14 - 26). The last 2 performances went like a dream. Almost full houses. They really outdid themselves and I glowed with pride. They bought me some flowers and a lovely hippy-type top. So I started my 'Thank yous' and I remembered everyone I wanted to thank. And I remembered to welcome the new members and say how well their debut performances had gone. Then it started to fall apart a bit. Lizzie (19) has been with one or other of my groups since she was 10. She has taken leading roles, been stage manager and has been a volunteer with the junior groups. She's also a great shopping companion. So I started to say how sad it always was to say goodbye to members who were leaving - she's going to university to do theatre studies in September. I looked towards her and she started to cry and that set me off. So the audience didn't hear all the nice things I was going to say about her because she was draped around my neck sobbing. I looked to some of the older ones hoping one of them would say something and they were all crying too. How embarrassing. We are so going to miss that girl. Gwynne (crying again - stupid woman)

Well that sounded like a perfect ending Gwynne, am sure everybody understood how you felt, because they were all in tears as well! :)) Now you can have a lovely time and chill a bit (hopefully not weatherwise!) :)) We shall think of you here in the mornings, they'll be an empty cup! :))
