ooooh gary lineker,hes lovely the crest is now called the holiday inn its just up the road from my house i live on holmer farm i was born round by booker common,mum and dad still live there so you can see i havent moved very far lol my eldest son lives in suffield road,so hes by the lovely roundabout and college lol susie |

dawn oceans!! then changed to tuesdays lol i met hubby there .oh my god,that was years ago lol i loved murrays,didnt you? they sold everything and anything lol i used to work at courtneys china and glass shop in castle street. i loved it there. |

dawn as long as he didnt remember you for the WRONG reasons lol im sure you were a good girl really,like i was:) the dreaded roundabout is still there by the fire station,but not for long!! they are building a new shopping complex and so the flyover and the fire station are going!! the fires tation is being moved to 2 new buildings,one at either end of the town. donna are you sure hartley knows that WASPS ARE THE CHAMPIONS??? susie |

Dawn Wasps were formed in 1867 and played around the Hampstead area originally. When I started watching them they were at Sudbury, near Harrow. Then they shared Loftus Road with QPR football club for a bit, which is when London was added to their name, some marketing gimmick. Nobody calls them London Wasps. Similarly, London Irish was an Irish exiles club in London, but they now play at the Madejski Stadium in Reading and few of their players are Irish.
