I was given diamorphine (Heroin) for pain when I was hospitalised with a particularly severe prolapsed disc. It was horrible! Spaced me out so much that I didn't know whether I was coming or going! Visitors couldn't get a word of sense out of me. And I hated the 'out of control' feeling. Didn't do much for the pain either! In the end I refused to have any more of it. Did share a spliff with a friend fairly recently, never tried it before...made me extremely giggly and extremely hungry... and wouldn't bother again! Dee x |

I hate seeing all that cocaine sniffing they have on tv programs nearly every day. It should be totally banned. I just cant understand why people would want to feel out of control. I absolutely hate the feeling of not being in control. The most frightening part of an op for me was the stuff they give you to calm you before the op and the anaesthetic they inject. I HATE IT. I would happily have an op under a local jab rather than feel my will being taken away from me. |

I said to her(just for effect) when she was smoking the cannabis: 'Can I have try?'. She replied 'No'. This seems to imply that I am not mature enough to try cannabis. How exactly is taking Cannabis being mature? Lucia :-) |

Cool That just goes over the top of my hatted head. The people who are said to be 'cool' are usually the people who are going no where in life. Beyond me why others would want to be like that just to be 'cool' Anyone have the answer? |

If you mean anything illegal then no. The smell of someone elses spliff makes me want to be sick. I did smoke but gave up 10+ years ago and only drink in moderation now! Sad Viv :-( |

Ok, I've never tried drugs. I found out someone I know was taking cannabis which kind of shocked me(she is from a Christian family). I don't see the point in taking drugs because I do have my own free will lol A lot of people my age take drugs but they do it just because it's cool lol Lucia :-) |

The most dangerous recreational drug I have ever 'used' is alcohol..... thankfully I got off that. |

Well done Daniel. I don't wish to sound patronising but what a brave - and true! - statement to hear from a teenage boy. Mandy :) |

Anyone who starts taking drugs today (nicotine included) is, quite frankly, an idiot. 99% chance that'll you'll regret it in 10 years time or less. You'd have spent thousands of pounds - for what??? And finally and most importantly, you've likely to have shortened your life considedrably. Is it worth it? Not in my book. |

No, never. I was far too scared, I took notice of the stories in the press about people dying from taking drugs. Like others, I'm taking far too many prescription drugs to make recreational ones seem appealing! Mandy :) |
