My 19yr old dog has just had a fit and died in my arms... i am so sad i can't imagain life without my old faithful pal.. goodnight my sweet little girl, god bless you. xx

For anyone who has lost a pet can I post this lovely verse : The Rainbow Bridge Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. Just found this for you. Heaven's Doggy Door My best friend closed his eyes last night, As his head was in my hand. The doctors said he was in pain, And it was hard for him to stand. sparkle I know exactly what that is like and its awful so here is ((((Hugs)))) for you from someone who has been there and had to bury after a couple of very bad nights with her sleepless companion, just mentioned her on the Battersea thread and then there is this that is more coincidences. How strange, sorry sparkle but it brings back such good and bad memories. Pat x
