I went to see a medium last night. I really enjoyed esp when my grandad came through to speak to me. The medium got all the facts right, I had not met her before. She told me he had a big belly, he had a problem with his leg a few years before passing, she asked whether there was a baby due, infact one was born last week. She said I had some problems with my eyes. All the information she gave me were all true. I couldn't believe it. I was really pleased. I hope to go again to see if I can get unsolved questions about the family tree. I just thought I'd share my experience with you all. Please list your views on the subject. |

I'm very interested in Mediumship, but have never been to see anyone - there are so many frauds out there that I would find it impossible to know a good one from a bad. I watch Derek Acorah and David Wells on Most Haunted and they seem very genuine and convincing, maybe I will wait until one of them does a show near here? Kaye x |

I agree it is very uplifting. Is not scary but it can be comforting and sometimes sad, but at least you know they are still there watching us carry on with life. That I think helps to overcome a part grief. It did for me anyway. Fern. |

I too have attended spiritualist churches and there is nothing wierd going to happen,,no pressure to believe anything other than what you want....... I can't imajine that 'frauds ' would be on the church circuit but like everything else there are good one and those that strive to be good ...but then for both there are good days and bad days....................... |

myself and daughter are gong to spiritualist church tonight havent been for few weeks, so if your reading this mum feel free to pop in for a chat via medium, we have had stuff given us that no one knew and things to await which were true, i was warned about 21st of april last year, to be careful, few days after 21st it was like someone had slapped me in face to say 'i warned you,' id been working and someone got in cupboard and stole my bag, it was about 23rd and i sat in the room and said out loud o,m,g hubby looked at me , i told him a medium had warned me it was going to happen, now ive started to develope my own psychic powers and only today reminded hubby how handy it is, |

I had a friend who had the gift and after returning from the pub with her husband she said that she had done the cards and the father of someone in the room would be dead within the year.......her husband told her off... but of the four of us there three had fathers ...all died within the year.........they were emigrating to South Africa.......she had cancer but was cleared.... she foretold her own death within the year but her husband again told her not to be silly as she had a clearance cert to emigrate..............we received a few cards and letters ,...then the news of a car crash were she was driving and the passengers including the dog survived but she died.......... this was tarot cards and not mediums and they do say you should never do your own |

Yes, tell us what happens? If there are hundreds of people in a hall, how likely is it that you will receive a message? And are you sure no great aunties will follow you home(makes the hairs on my neck prickle thinking of that). If anyone could get through it would be my mum - she was always the life and soul of everywhere she went, people always said the room lit up when she walked in and that is true. |

I would love to believe that I could contact Mum but if she'd been trying to get into contact I know I would have felt her presence, particularly at my lowest moments. However, if believing makes people feel better, where's the harm? Provided they don't part with huge amounts of money! Lily |

Been three times with a very open mind, didn't get a message myself and wasn't convinced by the 'messages' which were coming through for other people. In fact they could have been modified for most of the congregation. Like most people, i too will beleive when I have expierienced it and will remain sceptical when i hear of others' expieriences. |

Hi all, i have been to clairvoyant evenings at our local spiritualist church a few times and find the whole thing fascinating. I think I am probably looking for solid evidence of spirit communication with us but so far i have not been totally convinced although I truly want to believe. i have been contacted twice, once very little I was told rang true with me and the second time a lot of information I was given made sense. I have also been to see derek Acorah live and although he seems to be very precise, he came across as very arogant and didn't take too kindly to being disagreed with. sarah xx |

If you go to a spiritualist church you will see a medium, you may not get a message but in my experience most messages are so general that they could fit most of the congegation.... also there is often a message grabber.... a person there who nearly always puts up their hand at every oppotunity..... if you ask you can find out which mediums are good and sometimes they do private sittings for a fee |

Not had that experience with message grabber at our church Colin. If we can't take a message we all look blank and the medium has to work much harder. |

I used to know some very good mediums. One, Roy Mason, gave me information that I thought could not possibly be true so I gave him a tongue-lashing (at which I can be very good) for indulging himself at another's expense. Had to go back to apologise some weeks later. Len |

Len - did it make you believe afterwards? I wonder, would it be good for us - to know what was coming? Perhaps ignorance really IS bliss! Lily |

I went to see a medium when I was 18yrs old and everything she said was right! She told me I would be an single mum when I was 26.... I was 26 two weeks before I had the baby! She told me it would be a boy... he was! She told me that I worked with people who were like children.. I worked with adults who had learning difficulties Nearly everything she told me was right! The only thing that hasnt come yet is that I would have two more children... a girl followed almost immediately by a boy! She did say that there would be a huge age gap between my son and the other two! Well Adam is 13yrs old now so I hope she is wrong about that.... but you never know!!!! Bev x |
