Instead of just a meet we could hire a coach (or two) to travel around the country stopping off at different points so we could research our distant relatives and have meets in out of the way places. You wouldn't have to stay on the bus for the whole tour (though I would imagine that a few would be tempted) but get on and off where and when you fancied. Just think a holiday of research and booze.......... with the odd bit of shopping thrown in!!!!!!! LOL Mandy |

Yeah, Mandy! And how about we get this big pink teddy bear and stick it on the bus with a return ticket? That would save me and lots of other people a lot of work! LoL Don't think it would really do me much good finding my ancestors, though. Most of them were sailors! The coach might sink. CB >|< X |

Well we could have boat trips too CB........... ........... but they would have to be part of the bigger picture along with the GR summer camp for the kids to go to while we're on the bus!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL Mandy :-) |

Mandy, I think we should get Dave B to drive the bus, then we'd get a mystery tour as well as a hilarious commentary along the way. Come to think of it, though, maybe I'll stick with the boat trip after all! CB >|< |

Fares please I knew a Guy who was a driver on one of those one man buses and drove it into a supermarket shop window, when the police asked him why it had happened he said he didnt know because he was upstairs collecting the fares at the time.! |
