my hubby thinks i'm mad, sitting, typing to complete strangers. he has a picture in his head that we all look like train spotters. pmsl. have tried to tell him that it's interesting to hear what everyone is up to, but he says; get a life!! has anyone else got this problem? lynnxx |

My partner gets annoyed when i spend alot of time on the computer sometimes, i enjoy being on the computer, i am in the house every day on my own cos i cant work due to back problems so its nice to meet new people that i can chat to, id go round the twist if i didnt have my computer. Kaz xx |

pmsl paul, mines came with me to the welsh meet. he was looking at people with breif cases, thinking it was them. pmsl think he was shocked when he met sue from wales. how it changed his picture of us. LOL lynnxx |

My hubby too has complete control of the remote every evening,plus as we retired he can do his own thing during the day with reading & listening to his music. BUT i get so annoyed with him when he critisises how much time I spend on the PC. Have said to him ' You do what you like to do,& I like to do what interests me. THe house & meals dont suffer because I.m doing my hobby'. But he doesnt seem to grasp it. Not going to stop me tho!.I,m an Aries who normally flits from interest to interest after a short while,but this geneology thing has me well & truely hooked & I aint going to change. Feel, when your retired, its good to have a hobby which you enjoy.It hasnt taken me over completely tho I hasten to add. Shirley |
