A fairly quiet day but we managed a lovely walk in the park. We even saw some baby ducks so they must be having them late or maybe onto the second batch Jane - who is testing the name change

hi Jane, sounds nice and restful, the ducks are probably on the second batch, I would have thought. I just changed my name too, it didn't work the first time, had to do it again.

what have you got for tea Marion. I was going to do lamb chops with new potatoes, but came back in from friends house and hubby has cooked himself some beans on toast, think he got fed up with waiting, by the way, he didn't do me any!

Today I went to the next town and took photos of a pub for a member on here (her relations kept it at the turn of the century) then I visited my sister, came home and cooked and ate lunch and have just got back from visiting my local Masonic Lodge as they have had an open day. I went to look at the building which was commisioned at the turn of the 20th century, to be built as a college for training teachers and as a school. Now on here for a little while and perhaps a little shut eye before teatime. Viv

Struggling to get clothes, cases etc ready for out next holiday. The struggling is because my back and leg are so painful at the moment that I am finding it difficult to get up and down stairs. Just looking in here for a minute while the salmon cooks for tea. Then I have some ironing to do, though how I'm going to stand and do it I don't know:)) Chrissie

I've been to jungle jims - one of those kids places with a ball pit and then a big stack of ironing. just don't know where it all comes from. Going to spiritualist church in a bit then got to catch up with some serious comping. i've got an addiction to buying competition magazines at the moment - chat, take a break, thats life etc and all the summer specials as well as being a member of a competition website. Its costing me a fortune but I'll be very happy when I win a car lol

Sorry Lesley - it took so long to add the last message that the salmon is cooked:)) Going to North Devon and Cornwall. My leg and back are an old back problem that was virtually better until I decided to try an exercise that was supposed to be good for it on Thursday and it has been getting worse ever since:)))) That'll teach me not to leave well alone.
