Lyla Glad your ok, worry about getting home later. Bec Hope they are ok probably haven't heard as they can't get through . I had the same trouble years ago when my mum and dad were in San Francisco when they had an earthquake so know how you are worrying. They will get a message to you one as soon as they can

Hi All Family all safe, dad lives in Edmonton and knew nothing until I rang him to put sky news on. Hubby not delivering in london today...thank god....hes safe too. Sending thoughts out to all those caught up in all this. Elaine x

Thanks for this Louise. Sue Smith - thanks for thinking of me but I'm in Cambridge. Fortunately cancelled my plans to travel to London this morning as I would have been in Kings Cross at the wrong time. Still waiting to hear from my best friend. Lyla - very pleased you're safe. Have a friend who works in that area too and they have been locked into the building and told they probably won't be going home tonight. Daisy

Would normally visit my Mother in North London today using the Victoria line but due to the fact that my daughter had to have a minor operation today I went yesterday instead. Have been watching television all morning absolutley dumbstruck. How can one human being do this to another? Jean x.

Hi My Husband Bill just missed the Kings Cross explosion by about 5 to 10 minutes thank God. Just as he was leaving the station all the lights apparently started flashing and then he saw all the emergency services heading that way. Thank God he could contact me to let me know he was ok.I cant believe how close he was. All my thoughts now with the ones who were not as lucky and there families. Julie

I'm at Blackwall, we are fine here, although we have heard rumours about things happening at Canary Wharf. Nothing has been on the news about Docklands though, so probably just the rumour-mill going into overdrive. Carole
