Just been discussing this 'off the boards'... who would be interested in a meet/day out at Alton Towers some time in the next couple of months ? Don't have a date in mind yet, just putting it up for discussion...

it's £29 normal rate, if you book online you can get it for £22 I should add - I spent more than that at the bar at the last meet !!!

Further update... just checked their site. For group bookings, made in advance, for more than 10 people, the prices are; Adult £19.80 / Child £13.50 (note that's THIS MONTHS price, I think it varies from month to month) Personally, I dont think thats excessive.

Sounds good to me, I'm a bit of a white-knuckle demon. I paid just short of £30 to get into Pleasure Beach at Blackpool on an all-day ticket, which was well worth it as I would have had to have paid over double that amount if I'd paid for each ride singularly, for all the rides I went on.

I wont be able to come but for those who save up their tesco clubcard points you can use them against entry for alton towers as they are worth 4 times the face value. Elaine x

Hi Rosalyn, I am sure you would be able to get one from Glasgow to Stoke and then a local bus will go past it...You will get there somehow .. Susie xx
