Hi Baby butterfly I got 2 kittens 3wks ago, and they cost me a small fortune within the first wk, within a day of getting them home they both came down with cat flu, one was so poorly i really thought she was not going to make it, after visiting the vet twice and an injection, a course of antibiotics and lots of tlc they are well now, one still snorts a lot, but that should clear up over the next few wks, poor little things. would i be without them--no, but then i live on a 1000+ acre dairy farm just 2 feilds away from the river, so they have plenty of freedom, we also have 5 maren hens and a cockerel- all of which freerange in our garden, it has been soooo funny today watching the kittens stalking the hens, only to be told off by Galaxy the old cockerel! My twin girls have named the kittens Kitty and Peggy, if yours bring you as muchlove and laughter as ours it cant be bad can it, just be aware they can cost a small fortune if they are ill, maybe it would be worth thinking about insurance, i am lucky as all my pets vet bills get swallowed up amongst the general farm vet bills. Hi Maz hope you are well kes |
