hiya my friends. thanks to you all for replying to my thread, my mother in law treats me like a daughter(thinks more of me than her son lol . not realy) but every birthday my card says daughter on it, that says a lot to me,anyway you all take care and god bless you all x |

She didn't say it to me but to her tutor and it got back to me. My daughter in describing her dad said 'he is open-minded, broadminded and a person of integrity who will always be objective' On standing down as secretary to my motorcling club, I was asked to stay on as 'we never know what the hell you are going to do next'. A few minutes before he died my beloved Dad asked me to kiss him, well I was 41 at the time and had not done so since I was a little boy! Of course I did it fully on the lips nothing wrong in that you only get one Dad dont you! Dave |

I think we all need to be told how much we are loved and needed. These people that say,'It goes without saying' are completely wrong in my book. There would be less arguments and families splitting if only they would say those magic words 'I Love You. June xx |

When I first saw this I couldn't think of anything that particularly stood out. My late husband saying he wished we had gone into a pub together sooner was just one. Then someone mentioned diamonds which brought back a fond memory. Leaving the pub after a long evening shift one of the young regulars called out 'Hey Dick , your missus is diamond'. That was about 15yrs ago & it still makes me feel good when I think about it. Vivienne |

My daughter sent me an email about 6 months ago it said 'Hi Mum, I still love you luckily, Lots of love Ellie' It made me smile and I have it saved on my computer at work whenever I am feeling down I read it and it cheers me up. Jack x |
