Debby

Debby Report 11 Sep 2005 15:02

I've tried it a few times but every time have suspected someone has been moving the glass and haven't been taking it seriously. The first time was my mum, myself and my brother. When my mum asked if there was anybody there, my brother pushed the glass to no so that didn't go down too well! Another time, a few of my friends had a dabble and my friends hair set on fire - everyone was flapping until they realised all she'd done was leaned across one of the candles! On a serious note, my ex husband was a sceptic but once had a go and he reckoned the glass flew off the table and smashed against a wall - all the people participating ran outside and he genuinely believed there was no foul play. Aren't they banned over here now - you can't buy them in the shops can you? Debby

I've heard stories of the glass smashing too - my Brother said he tried it with some mates once, they were mucking about and taking the michael and the glass flew off the table - apparently. Maz - why not try a Medium or Spiritualist Church instead? Think they would be a lot safer. Kaye x

Not sure if Ouija boards are banned, but it is very easy to make your own, Debby. I have always thought that the glass moves through someone's (usually the strongest of the group) strong energy field. It is just a theory but I would never discount the power of the unknown....BC

Hi You can definately still buy the boards here, as I have purchsed one last week.. in a shop! I am unsure about living people telling me anything, as they all seem to say the same thing, bit like the horoscopes.. it's bound to be right for somebody! Maz x
