Roxanne Re government subsidising holiday companies. I agree that's not fair. I do think that something should be done to prevent holiday companies charging extortionate prices in summer holidays but not at expense of tax payers. |

I charge the same price year round... one price for the apartment, whether 1 or 4 persons occupy!! It is the flights that put the price up at certain times of year. It is more expensive for me to go to England in August than say it would be in February... Coming here it would be the other way round - February would be more expensive. Jacquie xxxxx |

Sue The 3 of us are going to try and work out next years holiday this week - maybe that's what you need to do and state quite plainly that you are just as entitled to leave when you want it as they are. It's a bit of a pain to say the least as we get 30 days each and you're not always sure what you want a year in advance! Good luck! Elaine It's a good thread - thank you! Debby |
