2, 6 and 8 still outstanding (and yes, it was Leonard Cohen that did the original version of Hallelujah) Dee, yes they have (apart from the one song in the lst that person wrote ;o) ) |

Thank you Jacquie The only connection that springs to mind is they all depress me :-( Especially Old Leonard Cohen songs. Besides that I ain't got a notion what they would all have in common lol. Unless its they were featured in films or something like that I should not be here so hurry up please lets know the connection soon. Pat x |

Great, A music quiz while I'm off ironing! I think 2 is Nina Simone - and she's recorded all of them as well. Gwynne |

#2 was indeed Nina Simone The link is that they've all been sung by the same person, and are on a live abum by that person, but it wasn't Nina Simone that I'm thinking of (although she may have sung them all, who knows). Shall I put you out of your misery ? |

OK, but only because it's a tenuous link. They're all covered by Jeff Buckley on his 'Live from Sin-é' album, which I'm listening to this afternoon, hence the quiz :o) If you don't have it, I'd recommend it |
