The Silver Sword - One of those BBC adaptations on Sunday afternoons at 5 - about some kids in Poland during the war - anybody else remember it? Probably shown about 1960 I should think. |

Ah yes, I remember :- Four Feather Falls Fireball XL5 Supercar Picturebook with Muriel Young Robinson Crusoe (The Dubbed one) The Singing Ringing Tree (Scary Midget) The Woodentops (Spotty Dog was my hero) Sarah and Hoppity (Diddly dum diddly de) Torchy the Battery Boy Rag tag and bobtail The list is endless !! Dont make um like that anymore. |

Jackanory Captian Pugwash GrangeHill-with Susan Tully and Todd Carty(Tucker) And a program where they told stories, Voiced over animation and at the end a guy used to play the Guitar and sing. .....OOOOOH what was it called??? Did they have puppets too? I can't remember. Anyone reconise it?? Sue |

When I was very young, it was Muffin the Mule, Bill & Ben, and Andy Pandy, which I only ever got to see at other people's houses. We didn't have a TV till I was 9. CB >|< |

TV??? what was one of those? lol We had to settle for 'Listen with mother' on the wireless. AND you had to wait for it to warm up! The wireless that is but it was well worth the wait..ah! the art of imagination...GREAT. Were those the good ol days?...yes and no :-))) Gerri |

My favourite when I was about four years old was Rupert the Bear and I used to cry when it went off. When I was a bit older I loved Hectors House I think thats what it was called with Humphrey Cushion and this mop head with a face who used to sit on the kitchen table, and then there was another one but cant remember the name, it had Hartley Hare and this daft Monkey in it, does anyone else remember it and know what it was called? its doing my head in as I cant remember the name.
