I am so glad he is feeling better. Children can go up and down so quickly. For older children cool showers or baths work well. My eldest son is epileptic and as a high temperature would induce a fit we always had to act fast. Soluble aspirins work quicker than the ordinary sort. Hope he continues to do well. Anne |

Great advice about the sports drinks Lin. Providing your child hasn't any dietary special needs like diabetes. This is a great way to help replace fluids in a child who has sickness and/or dioarroea. Many kids hate the taste of prepared stuff (and the best to use) dioralite, but I was told by walk in center, this is not so good but better than nothing or plain water. I find the still sports drinks better as well. Also if your child can eat a bit, crisps with that drink, will introduce salt into the body. If any doubt, seek professional help. E x |

I agree with the others and ring the Dr. We have just had our Grandson the same and the Dr said it was a virus going around and to make sur nyou keep the fluids up to him. She suggested to give him sports drinks, eg Lucusade, Gatorade or whatever mineral drinks you can buy there. Hope he's soon better. Lin |

No Bendy he does not have any signs of Asthma. But we are a little bit worried as he has a knee problem. He has seen two Consultants recently and after a CAT scan, it has revealed two leasions on his knee that could be Osteosarcomas. Daughter is worried sick. We are just waiting for new appointment to come through. Jenny. |
