Ah Paul, I think you'd like that!!! Have you seen the Ring? I don't like supernatural films usually, but it was so good!!! Get Amelie out to watch with Sharron, i'm sure she'd like it & you will too, it is a very funny film, very clever. As for American Beauty I could watch that hundreds of times, it's such a brill film. It'll be xmas soon, so we can watch the Great Escape with a tin of chocs on our laps, can't wait!!! :0) Joan |

Almost Famous is a film about a 15yr old boy who manages to get himself hired as a writer for Rolling Stone magazine and goes on the road with a (fictitious) band... it's a 'coming of age' type film. Semi-autobiographical based on the experiences of the writer/director Cameron Crow. The band is based on Led Zep (I think). Great performances, great story, great music and the beautiful Kate Hudson. Have a look here for more details... http://www.imdb(.)com/title/tt0181875/ |

Yes I've seen Kill Bill 2, preferred the first one though. Have you seen Sin City ? Superb, if very OTT. Haven't watched Crouching... have it on DVD, have never got round to watching it ! (I'm much more into films than Sharon unfortunately) Mention of Seven Brides.. reminds me of a film I watched with my dad when I was a kid - 'the quiet man' - excellent film. |
