I wear: Summer.... bronzer, khol, mascara and lipstick Winter...... foundation, blusher / bronzer (cos it goes on the eyes too) kohl, mascara and lipstick. Makes me feel better is why I do it..... for myself and no one else. Gaynor aka Glamorous_Gee_Baby |

I only own one lipstick and nothing else in terms of make up! I only ever use the lippy if we are going somewhere really special, and then Alan says ''what have you got on your mouth...'' and I promptly wipe it off. Lip salve in the winter when my lips get chapped , but that is as far as it goes. When younger i tried, but it never looked right so i gave up. When i got married i went and had a professional make up job hair etc - it doesnt look like me in the photos! Jess x |

Hi Bryan I wear foundation, eyeliner, lipliner then paint the lipstick on with a brush, cos it looks more professional. It takes me about 20 mins to do my make up. The only time I wear eye shadow is on a night out. Dont wear make up at weekends, unless having a night out. Regards Yvonne |

Rox & Gwynne, So that's me pigeonholed then! LMHO Never mind. The only other GR member who has ever seen me devoid of make-up didn't complain or run away, so I ain't too bothered. One thing I've never worn is bright red lipstick. It looks awful on most people, and especially so on me. cb (still not really here - just called in on a lunchbreak) |

Hi Bryan For evenings out or special occassions I wear a dab of foundation, in a failed attempt to make my patchy skin look blemish free. Eyeshadow and mascara, in a failed attempt to make my eyes look young again and lipstick, in a failed attempt to make my lips look young and full:)) More important though, on a bad hair day I feel and look about 92. On a good hair day I only look about 76 LOL:)) Chrissie x |

Gwynne, so true, I would wear so much make-up when I was younger, but now wear browns and lighter shades, the only thing I that I really wear thats bright and bold(in mak-up) is my lipstick. I love bright lipsticks. Roxanne x |

Hi Roxanne, As you get older you adapt and wear more subtle shades. No black eyeliner or mascara and choose less exotic colours for eyeshadow and lipstick. I wear glasses some of the time and without eye make up my eyes disappear. Gwynne |

Hi Bryan I don't wear any, never have - well, a bit of black eyeliner now and then as a teenage gothling 20 years ago. Always thought 'why pretend bits of my face are blue, or pink, beige?' when I was younger. Only time I wore makeup recently was at the Rocky Horror Picture Show, when I went as a dead biker! Axe gash on forehead and black eye. And the weirdest thing was that a gorgeous Swaziland boy (way out of my league) was strangely drawn to me! Anyway, dimples always work for me! xx Jen |

I was always told to 'accentuate the positive' where make-up is concerned, i e make the most of your best features. When I find them, I will. Meanwhile, how do you hide a huge nose? cb (still not supposed to be here) |
