1. never assume anything is going to be easy 2. be careful who you trust 3. having 8 out of 12 people in a team out on courses/leave all week isn't too clever 3. The easiest way to put people off you is to ask them for money (lol)

never make predictions as to when you will be finished a particular task. Invariably it takes longer than first predicted. The next time I'm asked, I think I'll reply 'I can get that to you for Christmas'. lol

Paul You must be a slow learner, I learned most of what you learned this week many years ago! I'd add never assume your husband has heard anything you've said, even though he nods head vigorously and says 'yes' when you ask 'did you hear me'! boys are incapable of putting rubbish in the bin - it either goes in their trousers so that you can wash it for them, or it sits nicely in a pile BESIDE the bin. nell

Daniel - yuck ! Andy - I learned that one years ago :) So did Sharon - after a few years of 'well I reckon I'll be at work about another hour...' (4 hours later...)

I always say always assume the worst of yourself, then the results will always be up to or better than your expectations never be afraid to apologise if you realise you were wrong, the easiest way to lose friends is to ask them to keep a secret Ken xx
