All this talk about it made me go and make a slice of hot buttered toast and Marmite..........wonderful stuff! It's really nice on buttered High Baked Water Biscuits too and a smear of Marmite on top makes peanut butter even better! I like a little Marmite added if I braise celery and a little makes soups and stews tastier. We buy the big jars of it and I eat it every day. Yum Sue |

We love Marmite. My 5 year old loves it on toast with cream cheese. If you have a bread machine and make an ordinary white loaf you can add a spoonful of Marmite to the mix. Marmite bread is good with beans on toast. You can also brush it onto bread before you bake it to give it that Twiglet taste. Louise |
