I wish I knew.

Big Report 17 Nov 2005 19:29

Perhaps she might like a camel instead?

Daniel

Daniel Report 17 Nov 2005 19:30

Hmmmm. A camel. Hadn't thought about one of those. Thanks Jules.

I'm too youthful to buy Red wine, and Robert Williams, nah.

Daniel What about doing the Full Monty for her? No cost to you except for your dignity and you can keep your hat on! Chris

Daniel

Daniel Report 17 Nov 2005 20:10

She's seen it all before anyway. And I fear the police and social services would arrive pretty quickly.

You can't give her a camel - she might get the hump on!

Daniel

Daniel Report 17 Nov 2005 20:21

Thanks CB! So I wont have to go to Ann Summers now? You never gave me a list Bec. I think you've had too much too drink with your friend.

Daniel

Daniel Report 17 Nov 2005 20:21

There's the door Nana. Bye now :-)

OK but before I go one final idea: Coping with teenagers by Sarah Lawson - ways to deal with truculent adolescents. Anna:-)) Ho-ho-ho!

Daniel Report 17 Nov 2005 20:34

I'm a prodigy. How dare you.

Its hard to find things for parents. I find that mine appreciate (and I appreciate from my kids) something that comes from the heart - it doesn't have to be expensive. How about a poem thanking her for everything she does for you and has done from you, preferably composed by you, put in a nice picture frame with a family photo of the 2 of you having a great family moment. You could use it to say the things you would never say face to face in conversation. That's the kind of things that really make mums go weak at the knees - I know as its worked on mine and it works on me! Angela

Not sure Daniel has a heart though, Angela! :-)
