My uncle who is deaf had his done a few years ago and it means that he can still look after himself at ninety-one. He is able to phone type and watch television. It is such an amazing operation when it is successful - what a lovely christmas present. Anne |

Brian you are not wrong there..... even subtitles aren't readable at the moment and its heartbreaking to see him trying to understand sign language let alone lip reading!! But it will be a success - it has to be!! xx |

What I find strange is this is the first time we have visited this hospital and he's been to see an eye consultant every 2 weeks for the last 2 years in Great Yarmouth and they have done nothing!! hey whatever its being done and if successful it will make us all smile!! xx |
