Louise Report 10 Dec 2005 22:19

Hi Joan, Our tree is still in the roof. I vaguely remember that we have Swedish corn dollies, tiny wooden figures skiing/ on sleds, etc.,golden kiss blowing cherubs, drums, reindeer, tiny rocking horses, golden walnuts/ fir cones, cinnamon sticks and clove covered oranges, candy canes, red, green and gold baubles. I quite like the traditional looking or folk type of decorations. Every year we add a few new ones. My girls are only 5 and 7, so we're still into child friendly baubles. No tinsel in sight, hate the stuff. We gett through quite a few crackers, as my 5 year old loves them. Probably making iced biscuits to go on the tree this year too. Louise

I know this is irrelevant but Ryanair have just sent a message saying I must not carry crackers in my baggage! What? lol

We have four trees, which may or may not see the light of day eventually (IF the decorating gets finished - HINT! HINT!) - a small, dark green one with red and gold decorations in the hall a small, dark green one with multi-coloured fibre optic lights in the dining room a large, dark green one in the living room with purple, silver, blue and pink decorations, and a small, gold one with tiny, carved wooden decorations and multi-coloured tiny tinsel on the windowsill in the downstairs loo. >*|*<
