I'm going to try that Fencing Club that took my interest earlier on. It's only down the road and you get 3 taster lessons before deciding to become a member or not. (And no, it's not about garden fences, although I can see their attraction) |

I've never tried it before, but from what I've been reading it seems something I'd be alright at. No group pressure and it's indoors :-) |

if this is an effort to defend yourself against various female advances (lemon, Bec etc etc), I think you're better with the other sort of fencing... 6 foot or higher lol |

Noooo. If that was the reason then archery, or even trap shooting would be more suitable. Keeps the distance you see. |
