hey guys don't panic, I think we are all in the same boat (except Cliff who seems to be the fittest of us all) xx

Well this Sunday I almost certainly have to work. The following Sunday I'm fundraising (and on call... will have to work around that). On the 22nd I'm off to Manchester for a football match, and then on the 29th I'm fundraising again.... Saturdays I'm usually tied up with football club stuff. I'll have to work around it

Paul, know what you mean, it is hectic. Sundays used to be my main walking day even before I agreed to go on the trek but that has given way to fundraising for some time now. Given that I still need raise some more loot, am going to have to try and get a long walk in on Saturdays. The weekdays are the problem though. Admittedly I've not got an excuse for having not walked on sand, living only half a mile away from the beach lol.

I'm so far behind schedule its scary. I'm going to be on the exercise bike every night now, and out early every morning for a walk before work. I need to fit some long walks in at the weekends too, but I'm pretty heavily booked up throughout January with one thing or another ! BTW.. ordered a new sofa yesterday,,, guess when it's going to be delivered ? In 10 weeks time ! lol

Paul me giggling now...... whatever happens we will have a laugh! xxxx

The kindness and generosity of people is incredible - my flabber has been gasted by it! You aren't teasing me about the 5* accommodation by any chance are you Diana?. It wasn't just a ruse to get me to sign up I hope? 10 weeks - it seems just yesterday that it was 10 months! Daisy

i agree andy :-) we hav been amazed at how people who we barely know hav helped so much

10 weeks....OMG why did no-one warn me that it was getting that close???? I really don't know where the past few months have gone....i just hope the next few weeks don't go too quickly, i need to THINK about getting fit....then find a way to do it....lol

Lou, True. I also tend to think of it more in terms of whatever you receive later on in terms of funding regardless of whether it came about because of the ads, as simply being due reward for the efforts that have gone before it. Reaping what you sow and all that.

Just wanted confirmation of my 5* accommodation and tent service - have they lost the booking? lol Daisy

andy its good that the ad got u some money we dont think any has been donated cus of cliffs yet but even if it doesnt help it still raises the profile of the charity :-) and makes u famous !!!! :-) daisy its good that u can rite it urself :-)

Daisy, all that's left to come is the flight details and I am waiting for the travel company to send it to me! Were you expecting anything else? Yes its gonna go real fast! :O) jenny..... we will have a celebration in April, we just have too! Lets just hope GB can be present! xx
