Hope the coffee morning goes well. When I first moved to Cambridge I lived in the top two attic rooms of no 56 G Rd - if I wanted fresh air in my bedroom I had to stand on a chair to open the skylight and stick my head out! The rear room did have a dormer window. (This was in 1969) Easy to walk into the centre and also to walk to the station to get back to Norwich. I used to use a launderette somewhere along Hills road near the top of Bateman or Norfolk? Street. Also used to dash along the other way to Mill road sorting office to post my mail home. Happy days! Moved to Gt Shelford after a few months. |
