hi its me been looking for flipping thingies to plug headphones in for ages daft question where the hell is it,think they forgot to put one on mine,found where to put webbcam and it works,well sort of,but where do the headphones plug in,I CANT FIND IT please |

Faith it is possible that the name came from here, so many places are named from where the immigrants to America originated from, so it is possible. We have a tiny village here called....California. XXX Lil was trying to answer your post...but wasn't sure what bit reminded you of the hubby......so best not...knowing me will say totally wrong thing lol XXX |

Julie I can probably drive to Prescot in no time from my Dads. The book included a map. Def think I am going to go there as the Lyons go way back between there and Whiston XX |

Thanks Lem, the reason I ask is my nearest town to shop here in the U.S. is called Prescott has two t's it's a very old town and used to be the capitol of this state, I often wondered if it was named after a place in the U.K.....regards Faithx |

hi Suzy, must say one way or another, the folk on here made me a happy bunny today XXX Faith ,Prescot is in Merseyside, but the pictures in book were all of Prescot of the early 20th century XXX Julie I may have to fit Prescot in to my visit as it has wet my apetite, I know some of the addresses my Lyons lived are still there XX |

About 10/15 mins by car. As I don't drive and have to use buses it's 2 buses but takes about 20/25 mins including waiting for bus lol |

Not really Lemon but it has changed a lot over the last few years. They have a retail park with a large Tesco's nowadays. Think it used to be BICC but not sure. |
